My Favorite Red Lipstick

So for todays post i was thinking the most asked question i get asked at work is "can you find a red for my skintone. And there isn't really a certain red for a skin tone its just what you think looks best. You can ether do a Bright red, a royal red, or a deep red. Its just what you think looks best one you. So I'm just gonna show my favorite top reds that i love! hopefully this helps some of you figure out what red is worth trying and buying!

1. Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in " Pomegranate"

This red is the perfect red, it comes in a pencil form which is super easy to draw out your lips and just fill in the rest. Its very creamy and a little goes a long way. The one thing i love about this lipstick is that it doesn't move at all! its like a stain but creamy like a lipstick. Also, Bite Beauty is 100% natural, so that's another plus because as you wear your lipstick you getting nourishment from all the natural ingredients! these lipsticks you can buy separate or you can get kits of different colors! I've had this since December and I've worn it at least one a week, and im not even close to being half way done with it!

2. Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in "69"

This lipstick i got in a 100 point perk at Sephora, and it made me fall in love with this line of lipsticks. This color is very bright, this is probably the brightest red i have, and every time i wear this i get complemtnets. So if your comfortable with bright reds then you need this one! its very creamy, probably the creamiest out of all these. The color is amazing and again you only need a little to do your whole lips. i can eat with this on and it wont move or smear at all! I'm almost done with this mini one, but i will for sure buy this after and probably get "obsessed"

3. OCC Lip Tar in "NSFW"

 If you don't now what a lip tar is, the are like paint for your lips. you only use a tiny drop, and i mean little and it'll do your whole lips. They are stains so the are a little drying, but if you put a gloss on top or a Chapstick underneath your fine all day long! this red is a little darker then a true red, but i would still say its a true red. What i love about these is that you draw your lips out and fill it in, so no need for a lip liner at all! I got this in December and its pretty mush full still! and this is a mini one i got in a kit of 4.

4. OCC Lip Tar in Dahlia

This is for sure the more darker reds, but it is still a red. It may look dark plum but its more of just a dark red. So again this is a lip tar and is a little drying but this is the perfect dark red. I think anyone can pull off a dark red, and this is my favorite. 

March Ipsy Bag: " Destination Beauty"

First, can we take a moment to notice how UGLY that bag is. Like it reminds me of jelly beans or those weird necklaces with those stones on it. i will never use this because it is that ugly haha. but this month i was VERY disappointed, i did not get anything that was good. So bad job Ipsy this month! 

 So these are the Klorane eye contour patches. This is the only thing in my bag that im kinda excited about just because my under eyes have been going through some dryness. But i do have the Glam Glow eye mask, that are AMMMAAAZZZIINNNGG! so im gonna see how these go againt those $70 eye mask.

 So again this month we got something from Bombshell, im not saying their a bad brand but there in every months bags. I just wish there was new and different brands. But these eyeshadow aren't to good i had to do the swatches a couple times to get color, especially the blue one. So i probably wont se them or ill try, but i have a feeling they will just go into my makeup storage and never be seen again haha.

 This is a Moxie lipstick by Buxom, and i work at sephora and at my work there lip glosses sell really good. there lipsticks not so much. I don't think its the fact of the formula but the colors. The colors are very dark, like a nude is a dark brown nude, i pink is like the one i got, and browns and really dark, and purples are just not the right tone. So i wont wear this lipstick just because dark rosy pinks don't look good on me.

And lastly, this Nicole by OPI. when i first saw this i thought the color was pretty then i opened it and was horrified. Its supposed to look "rough" so it looks like it has chunks of black stuff i it, as you can see from the lower left picture. ill give it a try but i am a little freaked out haha. if you have used these and like them let me know!


OVERALL:
i wasn't impressed with this months bag at all. The bag was ugly, and the products were just whatever. i think i might cancel just because i don't really use the stuff and it just keeps pilling up, but that'll depend on next months bag!

Review: Glam Glow Super-mud clearing treatment

(After 2 min on face)

(After 20 min, nasty blackheads haha) 

So tonight I did the Glam Glow mask and thought if do a review on it! I know it's late but this is something I love and can rant about! 

For some information about the glam glow mask, they are all natural and have no harsh chemicals in them. The one I used tonight was the clearing one. This one does contain 6 blends of Aha and Bha. Which pretty much are different chemicals ( salicylic acid/ Glycolic acid) which clean above the skin and into the pores. It also contains licorice in it to help with the cleaning pores and this mask does smell like licorice! 

This mask is made for cleaning out your pores, so any zits, black heads or any clogged pores you have and to help with scarring. 

To use this mask you only need a thin layer across your skin. It's best to use a flat foundation brush to spread it evenley. When you first apply it, it's a dark grey and as it dries it becomes a light grey. But the coolest part is that after it dries it will dry around your most problem areas. So around zits and blackheads. So you can see aall of it! Which can be gross but cool haha. 

I use this one a week, and right after my skin feels so clean and smooth and it does help with the appearance if blackheads and zits do go down! 

Price: this does cost $69. Which is pricey but so worth it if you need something to clean out your pores. You do get a lot more uses when you do a thin layer with a foundation brush. Try a sample first and see how much your skin will love it!!

February Ipsy Bag!

1.Nume Hair Mask

When i saw thise Nume item i was excited just because Nume is well known on Instagram and stuff. Its a little sample of a hair mask. Ill probably only have enough to use it once, so well see if it does the job on the first try! haha

2. ZOYA nail Polish in "odette"

Ipsy always sends out these Zoya nail polishes, i guess there a high end nail company, but i'm not a huge fan of nail polishes. I have so many from ipsy and i think i got a purple one like 2 months ago. so this will just sit in my nail polish drawer :(

3. City Color Matte Blush in "fresh melon"

when i saw this blush i was SO excited because i don't even have one matte blush. When i swatched it i couldn't believe how creamy it was! which means it'll blend amazing! and the color is so bright. but wearable, especially for spring! definitely my favorite thing this month.

4. Martini Liquid Shadow in "spiced rum"

When i first saw this i thought it was a lipgloss, and thought omg i'm never going to wear a gold lipgloss haha. but its actually a liquid eyeshadow. Its VERY pigmented and the color pay off is amazing. It seems to be waterproof because its kind of hard to get off. Which i suppose is a good thing. but ill use this and have fun with it!

5. Pop beauty lip gloss in "peony pony"

This lip gloss is a sample size, i would believe, but it is very pigmentes. The swatch i did was only one swipe! the color is like a deep rose color. Not sure i will wear it that often but ill try it! 

Review: Smashbox Full Exposure Palette

 Smashbox came out with this palette about a month and a half ago and I wasn't to excited when i saw it, because i already have the Urban Decay Naked and the Lorac Pro palette. But one of my co-workers always such amazing eyeshadow with amazing glitter and every time i asked her what it was she ALWAYS said this palette. So i ended up getting up because I'm a sucker for neutrals and glitter. After weeks having it I absolutely love it. I haven't even touched my Lorac Pro palette (which is my favorite palette EVER) or any of my Naked's. so lets get into close of the colors!!!!

Bottom row mattes
TOP TO BOTTOM (M1,M2,M3,M4)
M1:  Dark warm tone brown
M2: medium/light brown (prefect for crease)
M3:light brown, not a good swatch but does pull on eyelids.
M4: White matte (prefect for highlight)

The brush that it comes with is this one:

first off, this brush is amazing! the blending part (3rd bottom pic) is the perfect blending brush ever. its fluffy and it natural hair bristles which i think blend eyeshadows way better then synthetic hair. The naked brushes that came in the Naked2 and Naked3 are HORRIBLE. so this bending brush tops them by 100%. For as the flat brush side, this is very unique it has both natural hair bristles and synthetic hairs. The reason for this is because synthetic hair pick up glitter and put the glitter directly to the lid, all the glitter will transfer. Whereas, the natural hair bristles hold the glitter and barley will put any on your eyelid. So for the natural hair side i put down a matte color and then use the synthetic hair to put a glitter on top of it! this brush is amazing and i would buy this brush separate if they sold it separately.

OVERALL OPINION:
This palette is amazing, the colors go on effortlessly and the glitters and very glittery. I love the fact that it has a row of mattes and row of glitters. But the most unique thing is that the glitter colors go with the matte colors below it. So if you want you glitters to really pick up you but the matte color below it and that glitter on top! As for the brush, its my favorite because its 3 brushes in 1! Also, it does come with a mini full exposure mascara but i lost it haha. but that mascara is great too! so if you love glitters and browns you need this in your life. you not only get the amazing palette but the best brush ever!

IPSY January Bag "19 Reasons"

This months theme was "19 reason" which i don't know why haha, i think its just a New Years Bag. I don't peek at my glam room all month so when i get my bag i am excited. So this month was mostly skincare, which is fine by me because i like to try new things. It also gives me a chance to try things i usually wouldn't buy!
so here the pictures!

 First thing i ulled out was this Elizabeth mott shadow stick. I thought it was just an eyeliner because usually shadow sticks are bigger (like NYX jumbo pencils) just to make it easier to do your eyelid. But the color is really pretty. It did take a few swipes tho to get that color on my swatch :(

 Next, was this (MALIN+GOETZ) mojito lip balm. And this i was really excited about because my lips are dried as hell right now! and its like a thick gel type. It definitely smells like mojito's, which smells so good and refreashing. So I'm really excited and i know i will use this everyday!

 Then there is this Faith Aromatherapy anti-aging scrub. And i always love scrubs so i was excited about this. This will get rid of dead cells, and it also has Monoi oil to help hydrate the skin and help with collagen production! IT also has natural citrus to help awaken the skin and brighten it! and it smells good! so im excited to try this, and it all natural! (even better)

Then there was this Briogeo deep condtioner for the hair. This stuff is really thick and smeels like heaven! and who doesnt need a mask for the hair? i have many others but itll give me a chance to try new kinds! this smells so good so im excited to use this right away! and this will last awhile because its so thick you only need a little!

Lastly, there is these little smaple wipes of the Proactive mark fading pads. Which are just pads that have Salicylic acid. which is a AHA and cleans the surface of the skin, this ingredient is usually in all acne products. BUT the problem is that salicylic acid DOES NOT get rid of dark marks. the only ingredient that gets rid of acne marks or hyper- pigmentation is hyaluronic acid. so i think the totally messed up on this product because what this product is, is just a acne medication pad like other "acne pads" to prevent future acne or heal ones already on your face.



OVERALL: This bag was okay, i wasn't to excited because i feel i got one thing full size, when they say you get 2-3 full sized items. So i was dissapointed. The stuff i got is good but i will probably just use the lip balm, scrub, and conditioner. The other things will just be added to my collection of not used stuff. And the bag was ugly this month! i wasn't happy about that too! wtf ipsy!
hopefully next month is better!

Sephora Gratis!

So for those who don't know what "Gratis" is, its when companies that you work for give you free products so you can try them and know how to sell them.
So today i got my Sephora gratis (my first one) and i was so excited because this month is was mostly all skincare.
We go all of this!

we did get trained on all these products by Sephora Beauty Leader.
