New lush goodies! (Must haves)

This weekend I was in Las Vegas and as me and my friends were walking in the Mandalay bay we saw a Lush! My heart dropped because the closest one to me, from where I live, is about an hour away. So everytime I go to a lush I buy a few things. This time I bought one old love and two new products!

First, let's start off by my all time favirote face wash! It's the aqua marina(which is the big middle jar and the middle clump!) Mind you I've tried all their face washes except the dark angels and the soap bars! ( I think face wash bars just contain so much bacteria over time no matter how you have it contained) I have the angels on bare skin now and still have a lot left. The thing is that everytime I use it it's exfoliation, and using it every morning and every night was just a little to much exfoliation. So I'll be using that one at night and the aqua marina in the morning. This face wash is amazing! This is my second jar if the $20-$23. They go by the oz so prices will vary. This face wash contain seaweed to give your face amazing nourishment!( I love anything with seaweed or algae). It also contain aloe Vera which helps sooth and calm the skin from any irratation or inflammation. Also the most important is the calamine! Yes calamine pink stuff you put on for big bites or poison oak poisoning! It's an ingredient that help calm irratatwd sensitive skin! How you use this product is by pinching some off and mixing it with a little bit of water. When you rub it on your face it's so soft and smells amazing! I love this stuff because it cleans my face and leaves my skin so soft and motorized    Not stripped clean just perfect cleaning and it helps with my redness!

Next is the catastrophie cosmetic fresh face mask! I have tried the BB seaweed mask( amazing!!) and the oatfix (amazing too!) so my goal is to try all the fresh face mask. These mask you keep in your fridge because they are fresh! You can only buy these in store because of that.($6.95)  The mask is deep cleansing and nutrient wish with the blueberries! It is packed with vitamins, calamine, and blue chamomile oil to calm irratation and cleanse the skin. This mask smells like heaven! You apply and leave it on for 10 minutes. After my skin was so soft. I mean the softest my skin has ever felt from any skincare product! I was amazed. So this mask will be a must have everytime I go to Lush!

Lastly, is the mint julep lip scrub! I wanted one of these because I have heard so many great things about them. I got the mint one because it smells good and will refresh your breath when you eat it after. Yes eat it after! You apply to lips and scrub then for how ever long you want. After that you just lick it off! It's just sugar and a bunch if lead extracts! I used it and my lips felt so soft! It was only $10.95 and this will last me months!!

I high recommend these products to anyone that wants soft skin and wants there skin to be calm from irratation or redness! I would say these are for any skin type and almost every skin concern!

DIY: sugar lip scrub!!

So I was at home bored and decided to make my own lip scrub. I mean I have seen plenty on Pinterest. So I did 2 different methods to see which one I liked better. I'll start by explaining each way.

1. What you'll need
- coconut oil
- sugar (white or brown)
- vanilla extract ( or any scent you like)

First I put 1 teaspoon of cocnit oil in a bowl. Then I put about a teaspoon of finally extract. Then poured as much sugar as I wanted. If you want it to be a very gentle only do a little, but I wanted a more rough lip scrub. Then I put in freezer to make the coconut oil a little harder. And put into jar!

What it looked like before freezer

SECOUND method: (my favirote)
What you'll need:
- honey
- brown sugar
- coconut oil
- Vaseline
- Argan oil

First I put a teaspoon of honey in a bowl. Then I put a teaspoon of coconut oil and then I used my Josie maran Argan oil, which is what I use to put on my face every night. But this oil is a oil for everything so I added it for moisture! Then I added a small amout maybe a pea size of Vaseline just to make it a little thicker consistency. And lastly just added brown sugar. And again I added a lot to make it a little rough. And I forgot to put the ha ill in the picture but I added a teaspoon of vanilla for scent.

Overall product!
Left: 1st method. Right: 2 method
(This is after in freezer for a couple minutes to make it all solid)

Overall I like the second method because when I scrubbed my lips with it after my lips felt so smooth and moisturized! That Argan oil and honey made them like brand new lips! And it smelt amaziinnggggg. So I would suggest doing the second version!

Review: Bare Minerals biolucent mineral brightening treatment

Okay so I got this treatment (it's really a serum) in my Sephora gratis a few months back. I didn't know much about the product so I researched it and found that it was a serum that was packed with minerals that is supposed to help with brightening your face. So for redness and dark spots. So I used this for about 2 weeks straight AM and PM and it didn't really do much but break me out! At the time I was on Accutane. Which is a medication for acne and it's very intense. At the time my skin was bullet proof because of the medication. It just makes your body produce normal and perfect skin. Instead of acne prone and oily skin. So when I started to breakout I was really surprised because your not supposed to have breakouts on this medication. So I freaked out and stopped using it because that was the only product I changed in my skin care routine. My other co workers love this stuff and said it really helped with redness and dullness in the skin. But personally I hate this stuff and won't ever try it again! When the product comes out it's a very shiny colorful look. Like the inside of a shell. I think that's because it's minerals for the Caribbean oceans. But who know. And a little goes a long way. It does make your skin very soft but that's the only benefit I saw from it. Where I can get that from a more effective serum. So I would say I wouldn't spend the money on this item.

This does retail for $55.00

Thank you for reading!😘

June Ipsy Bag! " Pretty In Paradise"

first, i want to apologize for not doing blogs at all:( i have been working at my job (Sephora) a lot and got done with school recently. Im gonna try to do my blog entries at least 2 times a week! because i have a bunch of new stuff i get from work and stuff i have bought that i love and have used. First though i'm going to start it off with my just ipsy bag! if you don't know what ipsy is, it is a $10 a month subscription that you get every month. you receive 4-5 items and a makeup bag! its just a good way to try out new things and not spend the money on them really!
if you want to sign up click "here"

first item is the Nicka Shimmering Eyeliner in blue. i usually don't wear colorful eyeliner but i used this eyeliner today (the dy after i got the bag) and i just used it on top of my black eyeliner to look like i was wearing both, and my electric palette blue eyeshadows underneath and i LOVE it! it wore all day didn't smear and stayed true to its color! i will create more looks with this as well!

next is the Bombshell Mascara, bombshell has been in ipsy alot and i do like most of the items that i get. I just got 2 mascaras in my sephora gratis (benefit theyre real and the kat von d new mascara) so i dont think i will use this often but i eventually will!

Then i got a NYX butter gloss in apple strudlee. if you havent tried this, your missing out! they are thick creamy glosses with AMAZING color payoff. you can wear these alone or on top of a lipstick! there amazing and smell like heaven. so i was excited when i got this because i have bought 3 in the past and still have them, and i was eyeballing this color too! so im excited about this!

Then i got this Laneide bb cushion. When i first saw this i thought it was going to be a mousse or a whipped foundation or BB cream. then i opened it and saw that it comes with a weird sponge that was like plastic and when i opened it and but the product on the back of my hand i realized its just a liquid BB cream soaked in a sponge haha. so nothing special!

Lastly, i got this marc anthony beach spray, i havent tried it yet but my best friend dana got this in her ipsy bag and she used it when we went to the beach and its smelt BOMB! and i think it just like any other beach spray, its gonna give you beachy waves!

overall im happy with this months bag! i love everything and got one of everything! hair products and makeup!

April IPSY bag!

This months bag is pretty good! The bag is huge, so it'll be perfect for my purse to keep random stuff in. Let's just get right into the bag!

1) Big sexy hair volumizing mousse
It's funny because I have a full sized of this product and I couldn't live without it! I put it on my roots before I blow dry my hair. It makes your roots feel kind or weird but once you blow dry it, it'll make your hair so full and volumizing! I've tried everything to get my hair volumeized as much as this does. And I just use this and it'll make it perfect. I literally couldn't live without this product now that I've used it for months. If you have flat hair this will change your hair completely and a little goes a long way. But everyone needs this stuff!

2) city color highlight and eyeshadow mousse

So when I first opened this I had no idea what it was. Because the texture was gross and I wouldn't put this on my eyes because it will crease. It also says that it's a highlighter as well. So I'll have to try it as a highlight to see how it wears. In the picture above it looks a lot like albatross highlighter from NARS. It's really gold. So I'll see how they compare!

3) Catilyn tinted lip balm in apple pink

What I really like about this lip balm is that it comes with the brush to apply it! And it's the perfect brush too! It also is a really pretty color! It's a very natural pink. So I'm excited to try this!

4) urban decay 24/7 glide on pencil in black velvet

I soooooo needed one of these. And I was gonna buy one from my work so I can carry it in my purse. So I'm so excited I got this in my bag! It's a very black pencil that's waterproof. So it's perfect for my water line! And these eyeliners are well knowen because there so pigmented and stay all day!

5) dr.brandt microdermabrasion
At my work (sephora)  we only carry a few products by dr.brandt because were inside a jcp. So when I got this I was so excited because I've never tryed it or heard about it! I used to get microdermabrasion done to take away my acne scars. But it's so expensive considering you have to go 2 times a month, or even more. So I'm excited to try this and see if the crystals are the same as the crystals on the hose when you get the real dermabrasion done.

Overall:
I'm pretty happy with this bag! One of the best yet!!:)

My Favorite Red Lipstick

So for todays post i was thinking the most asked question i get asked at work is "can you find a red for my skintone. And there isn't really a certain red for a skin tone its just what you think looks best. You can ether do a Bright red, a royal red, or a deep red. Its just what you think looks best one you. So I'm just gonna show my favorite top reds that i love! hopefully this helps some of you figure out what red is worth trying and buying!

1. Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in " Pomegranate"
This red is the perfect red, it comes in a pencil form which is super easy to draw out your lips and just fill in the rest. Its very creamy and a little goes a long way. The one thing i love about this lipstick is that it doesn't move at all! its like a stain but creamy like a lipstick. Also, Bite Beauty is 100% natural, so that's another plus because as you wear your lipstick you getting nourishment from all the natural ingredients! these lipsticks you can buy separate or you can get kits of different colors! I've had this since December and I've worn it at least one a week, and im not even close to being half way done with it!
(mind is a mini one, so the full sized one is $24)

2. Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in "69"

This lipstick i got in a 100 point perk at Sephora, and it made me fall in love with this line of lipsticks. This color is very bright, this is probably the brightest red i have, and every time i wear this i get complemtnets. So if your comfortable with bright reds then you need this one! its very creamy, probably the creamiest out of all these. The color is amazing and again you only need a little to do your whole lips. i can eat with this on and it wont move or smear at all! I'm almost done with this mini one, but i will for sure buy this after and probably get "obsessed"
($22)

3. OCC Lip Tar in "NSFW"
If you don't now what a lip tar is, the are like paint for your lips. you only use a tiny drop, and i mean little and it'll do your whole lips. They are stains so the are a little drying, but if you put a gloss on top or a Chapstick underneath your fine all day long! this red is a little darker then a true red, but i would still say its a true red. What i love about these is that you draw your lips out and fill it in, so no need for a lip liner at all! I got this in December and its pretty mush full still! and this is a mini one i got in a kit of 4.
Bigger ones are a lot bigger and are $18
CLick for Sephora website

4. OCC Lip Tar in Dahlia
This is for sure the more darker reds, but it is still a red. It may look dark plum but its more of just a dark red. So again this is a lip tar and is a little drying but this is the perfect dark red. I think anyone can pull off a dark red, and this is my favorite.
